| Universal Steel Target Base |
|
Why lift heavy and cumbersome hinged target bases?
Why risk injury from handling both the steel target and the hinged base?
Why use up precious storage space for those huge, hinged target bases?
Our new Universal Steel Target Base dramatically reduces setup time and fatigue. It eliminates potential injury associated with handling conventional permanently hinged bases. The Universal Steel Target Base stores in one quarter (or less) of the storage space of conventional bases. And, best of all, it costs less!
Work with all Steel Targets:
What you can clearly see in the video is a giant leap forward in steel target deployment. Whether you operate a large range with many stages or you operate a small range, setting up steel knock-down targets with our Universal Steel Target Base could not be easier. Only one quick modification is needed for your new or existing steel targets. And, since the base is universal, all you need to do is apply the modification to any steel target you wish to use with the Universal Steel Target Base. Then you have one universal base for ALL of your steel targets. Complete instructions on applying this modification are below.
If your current steel target and base looks like the photo below, you are working too hard and spending too much money!
Don't lift another steel target and hinged base combination ever again!

The Target Hinge Adapter uses either 1-1/4 inch long, 1/2-13 UNC Carriage Bolts (square neck) for square cut holes or simple 1/2-13 UNC Machine Bolts (hex head) for drilled holes. In either case, be sure to use 1/2 lock washers and standard 1/2-13 UNC Hex Nut when assembling. If there are no mounting holes in the steel target, drill two, 9/16" holes (as shown above, using the adapter as a template/pattern) approximately 1.25 to 1.30 inches from the bottom edge of the steel target.
